We provide this analysis to help provide you with an estimated cost for the installation, configuration and theme customization of WordPress to meet your requirements.
Assumptions
We are assuming that you require our services to install WordPress and manage the configuration and setup of your WordPress web site. However, you may have the skills and ability to do this yourself, in which case, you can setup WordPress on your web site for FREE.
The following estimates are based on Digital Synergy being the web hosting provider, your current hosting provider may or may not support WordPress. If you require hosting, we can provide this at very reasonable rates – most small business sites average $100 per year for a full service hosting account, we provide personal web site hosting for $60. per year. Our standard rate is $50.00 per hour for all services; for larger projects we can negotiate lower rates depending on size of project. Our minimum billing is ½ hour.
It is important to remember that, once the site is up and running, the customer will be have full editorial control over the web site – we would only provide support where necessary…
At this early stage, without customer input, we offer the following APPROXIMATE cost estimates. The items marked with an “*” are optional and could increase or decrease should the customer have more or less specific requirements. Other variables are if the web site is new or has previously existed.
These costs do not include DNS registration fees or annual hosting fees.

Transfer of customer files to our web server – one hour – $50.00*

At this point, the web site would be ready for content insertion…
To transfer content from original site to new site – four hours – $200.00*
Please note: It is difficult to provide quotes for creation and/or insertion of NEW content into the WordPress “framework” – this depends on how much the customer would rely on our services as opposed to the customer doing this and/or the actual amount and type of content desired or expected.
Training on how to use WordPress – two hours – $100.00*
Estimated costs to transfer an existing web site to WordPress ~ $700.00
Or, a brand new web site could cost as little as $200. – $300.
